Cycle Hire
Adult & child bikes available including a tandem, tag along
bike and child trailer. Located nearby. Tel. 01686 413565 for
enquiries or to book.
Barbeques
These are
available for guests to use
in the garden area. If you require barbeque
briquettes, we do make a nominal charge of £5.00 per
bag.
Bicycle route maps and trails
These are available in the Resource
Centre/Laundry Room which is located adjacent to Cedar Cottage.
Binoculars
Available in the resource centre, please
return each day in case other guests would like to use them,
thank you.
Check out
We kindly ask guests to vacate your cottage
by 10am on your day of departure and leave all towels and
linen in the cottage for cleaning, thank you. Please leave key
in Resource Centre upon departure.
Dogs
One small dog subject to prior arrangement before booking is permitted in Beech cottage only. Cedar & Oak cottage strictly no dogs permitted.
Fishing
We can recommend a local fresh water lake, well stocked with
carp, owned by Mr and Mrs Deeble. This is
located about 6 miles from Barn View Cottages and a day ticket
is £4.00.
Heating
The cottages have oil fired central heating
and you will find the thermostat situated in the dining room
of each cottage.
Laundry Room
A washing machine is available for guests to use. There
are also washing tablets available in the Laundry Room at extra
cost. You will also find a pull out washing line in the Laundry
Room for hanging damp clothing. There is also boot storage/drying
area available for use.
Linen
Complimentary linen is available to guests. Bed linen is changed
weekly.
Provisions
We have home made preserves, chutneys,
cakes and other home made or locally produced food dependant
on season available from the resource centre. There are also
chocolate bars or crisps for those guests who would like them.
We also have our own chickens with free range eggs available.
Each item is priced and guests will find an honesty box in
the resource centre.
Towels/Tea Towels
Available free to guests in all
cottages.
